Amanda Faubus

I’m a painter and designer working in oils, acrylics, watercolor, and gold leaf. My style leans toward “less is more”airy, elegant pieces with intentional space and a timeless feel. I love creating artwork that brings calm, beauty, and a subtle focal point to any room.
Originally from Texas and now living in Colorado, I draw inspiration from the outdoors, my family, and my faith. I studied Interior Design and Architecture at Abilene Christian University and later trained under several talented painters in California. Today, I paint, illustrate, and collaborate with companies that reproduce my work in the U.S. and abroad.
I’m a free-spirited artist who moves between projects—portraits, abstracts, hummingbirds, even the occasional house plan, often surrounded by wet brushes and paint-splattered clothes. Gold, silver, and copper leaf are my signature materials, and I frequently work on custom reclaimed-wood canvases built with help from my wonderful family.
I am blessed to have this opportunity to share my art and my passions with you!
